The tonic? Being one of the first guests at the new luxury chalets, just completed by the 5-star Hotel Armancette.
The 17-room Leading Hotels of the World property opened last summer and enjoys a stunning mountain backdrop at the foot of Mont-Blanc.
It’s located in Saint-Nicolas de Veroce and takes its name from the nearby glacier. You can enjoy fine dining, spa and wellness here in this relaxed and ambient setting.
Its three new chalets now complete the Armancette offer. They opened in December, further up the mountain.
They’re based in a luxury hamlet right by the Chattrix piste, so you can ski in and ski out, thanks to the new Chattrix chairlift, which opened this month.
The chalets, which host eight to 14 people, shine with authentic charm blended beautifully with 21st century chic.
They’re warm, welcoming and define indulgence with their fine fittings and comfortable home-from home charm.
The beds encourage great sleep, the showers strong, and the kitchen’s full of everything you need to make your stay a food fest’.
The lush lounge does seem to whisper ‘don’t leave me’ each morning, but still invites you back in with a welcoming fire.
You can also make the most of the chalets’ concierge, housekeeping and personal chef at the chalets.
Our host, Frank, made sure our breakfast was perfect each morning before we kicked off down the slopes.
Swish and tonic. It’s the way forward …
