Back to Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler Blackcomb offers accommodation in everything from luxury hotels to self-catered apartments. Hotels and ski condominiums (apartments) provide the majority of available beds in Whistler, although some UK tour operators do offer catered chalets. The resort accommodation is spread across four distinct areas: Whistler Village, Upper Village, Village North and Creekside.

Whistler Village

Whistler Village is the ‘hub’ of Whistler. It is definitely the most convenient option for skiing, eating and partying. There are lots of hotels in Whistler Village itself. Prices in Whistler compare well against the premium resorts in Europe. The Westin Resort and Spa is one of the best in terms of location and facilities.

Upper Village

Upper Village is a short walk from Whistler Village. The few ski in/ski out hotels are to be found here on Blackcomb Mountain. Upper Village doesn’t have as many amenities as Whistler Village but it is quieter. Many of the  high-end hotels are situated in Upper Village.

Village North

Village North is very much a part of the main Village but there is no direct access to chairlifts from here. Visitors have to walk between five to 10 minutes to the main base to access the mountain. Much of the accommodation includes kitchenettes making it a popular place for families.

Creekside

Creekside is about 15 minutes’ drive away from Whistler Village. Visitors stay here to avoid the crowds. A free shuttle bus service provides access to Whistler Village. There is a gondola at Creekside for fast access to the mountain.
