Back to Verbier

Verbier has grown quickly over the last forty years, but thankfully, due to strict planning laws, it retains a rustic charm and welcoming village feel. The most desired accommodation for visitors to Verbier is in the centre of town, where shops, bars, restaurants and the main Medran lift station are all within walking distance. Quieter places to stay can be found in Savoleyres and Haneau, near to Les Esserts nursery slope, and towards Patier, around Les Moulin baby slope.

Hotels in Verbier

As one of the best known resorts in Europe, it is no surprise that Verbier boasts a wealth of hotels, most of which are upmarket and well located right in the centre of resort. Hotel Vanessa is a great luxury choice, and Hotel les Touristes is your best bet if you’re skiing on a budget and Hotel du Verbier, which is situated in the middle of the village.

Chalets in Verbier

Catered chalets are the most popular type of accommodation in Verbier and most properties rise up the hillside behind the church towards Savoleyres. The chalet option often includes a very useful guiding service. Ski Verbier run one of the best chalet operations in town and there’s plenty to choose between. Visitors in search of luxury should consider Chalet d’Adrien with 25 beautifully furnished rooms and excellent cooking. Self-catering chalets are the least popular choice, but the centrally located and spacious apartments at Vanessa are worth a look, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants in Verbier if cooking your own dinner doesn’t appeal. For chalet rental we can recommend the english speaking team at Verbier Rentals.
