Verbier is quite a pretty town and it’s pleasant to spend a day exploring. There are several small art galleries and local history museums to enjoy and you can easily spend a relaxing afternoon browsing the shops.

For active types there are all sorts of activities to enjoy, including ice climbing, paragliding, nine different snowshoeing itineraries, and two 10km toboggan runs. The sports centre provides all the usual distractions, including a swimming pool, skating rink, squash courts and a climbing wall.
