Banff, which is the closest town to Sushine Village, is host to a variety of accommodation options to suit all budgets. But for skiers and snowboarders looking for a ski-in, ski-out experience, take a peep at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge in Sunshine Village itself.
Staying in Banff
Banff is home to The Fairmont Banff Springs – the area’s most iconic and historic luxury hotel – with fantastic views and all the amenities you could possibly need, staying there is a real treat!
On the higher end of the scale again is the Fox Hotel and Suites, Banff’s newest hotel offering mostly suite style accommodation with kitchen nooks and living areas.
On a budget
For the more cost conscious try accommodation such as The Ptarmigan Inn conveniently located minutes from downtown. For those on a budget, there are hotels such as the Inns of Banff with a large outdoor hot tub and great views of the mountains. Banff is also host to some hostels such as the Samesun and Backpackers hostel.
Banff National Park
Because the SkiBig3 resorts of Sunshine Village, Lake Louise and Mount Norquay are located in a National Park visitors will need to pay a park fee which can be done upon entrance to the National Park or in the Parks office itself.
