Sunshine Village ski area has a number of eateries, catering to mid-winter sugar cravings but also offering up some fine-dining too. All the restaurants at Sunshine Village are technically mountain restaurants as you are never more than a short walk from the hill. Try the Eagle’s Nest in the Sunshine Mountain Lodge for some serious fine dining, Mad Trapper’s Saloon for good ‘ol pub grub or nip in to the Burger Shack or the Java Lift Coffee Bar for snacks.

Après ski
Mad Trappers Saloon is the perfect place for some on-hill après ski. It’s named after 90+ year-old Trapper Jerry and is a great place to relax after a day on the slopes. If you’re after some après ski in Banff, there are many options including Melissa’s for some cheap wings and beer, or one of the many watering holes on Banff Ave!
On a budget?
Many of the restaurants in Banff-Lake Louise have specials on certain nights of the week, such as steak or wing nights, keep an eye out for one of those types of deals as they are usually popular with the locals.
