Steamboat ski resort has plenty of accommodation options, with a whole host of places to stay to suit varying budgets and tastes. Visitors to Steamboat can choose between a good range of hotels, B&Bs and motels, as well as some convenient self-catering condos for larger groups or families.
The resort has the capacity to sleep around 8000 people, all within 400 yards of the base area, so ski in, ski out accommodation is plentiful. Visitors to the area who prefer to stay in Steamboat Springs will find another 9000 pillows in the main town. The regular free shuttle bus from town to the ski resort, just two miles away, makes this very doable. Staying in town is a great option if you have people in your group who are not planning on skiing every day, as they’ll be able to easily access Steamboat Springs’ many other attractions.
