Back to St Moritz

The wealthy clientele of St Moritz benefit from some of the best food in the world with no fewer than 20 restaurants listed in the prestigious Gault Miliau guides. However, to eat at these places you should expect to pay the same as in a top London restaurant. This theme continues on the mountain and the restaurant at the top of the Corviglia funicular is thought to serve the finest mountain food in the world with caviar and truffles on the menu! There are cheaper set menus to be found but those wanting to eat cheaply will probably end up in the buffet at the railway station!

At night the resort has plenty of bars and clubs, but again they tend to cater for the top end of the market. Amongst the highlights are a bar with over 2500 whiskies (the largest selection in the world) and a nightclub with a live orchestra until 4am and a black tie dress code!
