Back to Schladming

Schladming has it all, from the one of the most impressive cross-country areas in Austria and the excellent standard of skiing on the Dachstein Glacier, to the challenge of the fastest World Cup downhill and winding intermediate pistes that flow through the trees. Beginners are not forgotten either, with the excellent sunny plateau at Rohrmoos offering an extensive nursery area. Snowboarders will also enjoy this resort, with three half-pipes and wide-open pistes everywhere.

The skiing in Schladming is based around four connected mountains – Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm – which are all easily accessible and have their own individual charm and character. All four mountains face North and when you add to this the excellent snow-making system you can be pretty sure of good conditions all season. The skiing goes on until early May in nearby Zauchensee and on the Dachstein glacier.
