Considering that Saas-Fee is a relatively small place, it has a good range of non-skiing activities for those days when the weather is bad, or when you just feel like something different (it has been known).
Sightseeing in Saas-Fee
Saas-Fee is home to the world’s largest ice cave, which is well worth a visit. The whole region is pretty as a picture too, so snow-shoeing, paragliding and tobogganing are all recommended. As well as this the tourist office organizes daily guided walks which are a lovely way of exploring the area.
Leisure activities in Saas-Fee
There are several spas and wellness centres in the village which are perfect for some pampering. The leisure centre has a large pool, as well as tennis courts. For other outdoor activities you can try ice-climbing on the glacier, as well as snow tubing and snow kiting.
