Boccalino, 3906 Saas Fee, Switzerland

It serves all of the usual Italian dishes, including huge pizzas, pastas and a great range of appetizers and desserts. The atmosphere in here is quiet and calm, which would maybe be more suited to a romantic dinner than a big group outing.

Bodmen, Panorama Strasse 40, 3906 Saas Fee, Switzerland

The Bodmen is at the higher end of the scale in terms of quality and price, and must be booked in advance as it is a very popular place. A glass panel in the restaurant allows you to watch the animals in the barn go about their daily business. There are guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens and cats. Quite bizarre really.

Ski Hutte, Saas Fee, Switzerland

The Ski Hutte has a great location, with tables on a terrace outside to enjoy the afternoon sun. The menu selection isn't the best however. They have some traditional specialities like fondue, and some alternative dishes, but you aren't stuck picking between too many
