Skiing and snowboarding are only a part of what is on offer in Merano 2000. This is a great place for snow shoe walking with 25km of winter hiking trails. The trails run over beautiful hills and through woodland but you can enjoy the spectacular views over the Dolomites.
The Luckis Kinderland is a great fun park for the children, the little ones either get their first taste on skis/snowboards or they can just play in the snow. There is also a toboggan run through 3km of woodland and the Alpine Bob – an all year round bob sleigh that all the family can enjoy.
There is also the option of purchasing a ‘Therme & Ski’ ticket – spend half of the day on the mountain and then the other half in a spa! In the city of Merano there is a large choice of activities including climbing, swimming, tennis, ice skating and thermal baths.
There are a good range of shops in the city of Merano and the nearby city of Bolzano – just 25km away.
