Grenoble airport is by far the best airport to get to Les Deux-Alpes, as by road it is nearby and fairly small, so you could be off the plane and out of the arrivals lounge in twenty minutes. Lyon and Geneva airports are both close enough to get to the resort but if you can fly into Grenoble it will cut your transfer time dramatically. These larger airports tend to suffer from heavy congestion on Saturdays too. There are several regular public bus services from Grenoble airport, run by VFD, as well as some private transfer companies such as Ben’s Bus. From Lyon, the Satobus shuttle runs via Grenoble to Les Deux Alpes.

As far as rail options go Eurostar runs overnight services to Moutiers from where you can get a connection to Chambery and then Grenoble. From there take a VFD bus up to the resort in around one hour forty five minutes. Alternatively, you could take the Eurostar to Paris and a TGV service to Grenoble. The journey between Paris and Grenoble takes just three hours. Hiring a car is the most flexible option of travelling to Les Deux Alpes and it means you can travel around to see other resorts. Grenoble to Les Deux Alpes is 70km and takes around one hour, exiting at junction 88 for “Briançon, Gap, and the Oisans resorts”. Driving all the way from Calais would take upwards of 12 hours and will cost around 60 Euros each way in tolls.
