Les Carroz has an array of restaurants clustered around the town square. There are plenty of places offering pizza, which is generally the cheapest option, but this is also one of the best places to try genuine Savoyard dishes, prepared by families who have been cooking the recipes for generations. People reputedly travel from Geneva to sample the delights of Les Servages, the most upmarket hotel and restaurant in town.
Mountain food is generally good quality but there is a low ratio of restaurants to skier numbers, so if you have your eye on a particular place in high season it maybe worth booking ahead. The apres ski is low-key in Les Carroz as befits a resort that has gone out of its way to market itself to families. La Pointe Noire is popular with locals though and has some great live music acts in winter. There is one cheesy alpine nightclub in town if you really feel the need to dance!
