Restaurants
Expect to find a culinary experience to suit every taste, award-wining fine dining such as Eden Restaurant in The Rim Rock Hotel, and the Dining room at The Post Hotel offer up fantastic fine dining culinary experiences. But we know a lot of you will have come here for a good Alberta steak so try The Saltlick, Melissa’s or The Grizzly house, or for the more cost conscious try a good meal at one of the local pubs like Tommy’s or The Rose and Crown.
Bars and clubs
The Chateau Lake Louise is host to the Glacier Saloon a great place for some après ski or some late night drinks. If you are staying in Banff then there are many options from pubs to dance bars such as the Rose and Crown for live music or The Dancing Sasquatch if you are looking for a good place to dance the night away!
Apres ski
The Kokanee Kabin down at the base of the Glacier chair is a popular spring or sunny day option. There is indoor and outdoor seating for some good food and a cold jug of Kokanee, and later on in the season expect to see some great live music, definitely the place to enjoy a party and stick around for some apres ski or just take a stroll along Banff Avenue and pop into one of the many local watering holes.
On a budget
Many of the restaurants in Banff-Lake Louise have specials on certain nights of the week, such as steak or wing nights, keep an eye out for one of those types of deals as they are usually popular with the locals.
