Back to La Tania

La Tania has something for everyone when it comes to accommodation and offers better value for money than some of its more illustrious neighbours. The downside of course is that neighbouring Courchevel and Meribel have the livelier and more diverse nightlife. There are several apartment blocks in La Tania, a hangover from its original purpose of functional accommodation for the 1992 Winter Olympics. These complexes do now offer people on a tight budget the chance of convenient slopeside accommodation with access to the largest ski area in the world. The Residence de la Christiania has basic apartments for up to 10 people whilst there is a large directory of private apartment rentals listed on latania.co.uk.

There are a handful of hotels in La Tania but nothing that would fall into the top-end luxury category. The Hotel Montana is a nice 3 star option though in a great spot and with a respectable range of leisure facilities. By far the dominant force in the accommodation market here today is the British catered chalet. In the short history of la Tania these operations have increased year on year and there are now over 20 operators in this little resort. A catered holiday can often provide the best value for money and removes a lot of hassles for a family with young children. Family Friendly Skiing are a company that offer catered chalet holidays with in-house childcare and Come-ski.com has two chalets for those guests looking to be pampered. Again latania.co.uk has a useful directory of all chalet companies.
