Back to La Clusaz

Mountain restaurants are one of the biggest plus points for La Clusaz when choosing a destination for a ski holiday. The resort has managed to avoid the typical motorway services type of restaurants found elsewhere, and has an abundance of family-run rustic mountain huts that serve fresh Savoyard fare at sensible prices. If trying to complete the 5 mountain circuit the old farm at Col de Merdassier is a natural pit-stop. The food on offer in resort is equally impressive with over 60 restaurants offering everything from take-away to Sushi. La Broche takeaway in the centre of the resort offers a quick cheap culinary delight!

Après ski is not massive here but there are more than enough charming bars and chilled-out hangouts to keep all but the wildest party animal happy. A couple of nightclubs ensure that visitors have somewhere to go after hours, with L’Ecluse boasting an impressive glass dance floor over the river.
