The Eagle’s Eye restaurant is one of the top mountain restaurants in Canada, as well as its highest, and is well-known for its excellent views and interesting menu. Booking is essential as it’s a very popular spot, but you’ll kick yourself if you take a ski trip to Kicking Horse without paying it a visit. Part way up the mountain right next to the Stairway to Heaven lift The funky Heaven’s Door is housed in a yurt and serves up soulful mountain food, quick snacks and delicious hot chocolate.

The Whitetooth Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is both a popular and affordable choice. Peaks Grill, right by the gondola, is another good option, serving well-priced quality food and drink. Corks, housed in the Copper Horse Lodge, has a more intimate bistro atmosphere, as well as offering cocktails and a take-away pizza menu.
Après-ski in Kicking Horse
There are several places to enjoy après-ski in Kicking Horse ski resort, but it is a fairly laid-back affair and those looking for serious revelry will be better served in Golden. The Peaks Grill, with its strategic position at the base of the gondola is a firm favourite, as is the Whitetooth Grill, which also has live bands on weekends. The Local Hero Pub boasts down home cooking, country hospitality and ski-boot stomping fun!
