At just 5km from the border with Italy and within sight of the Cote D’Azur it is no surprise that the area has many historical influences on its gastronomy. Whilst finding a Tartiflette or a Steak Tartare is no problem you will also have no trouble finding a good pizza or pasta dish, and there are a few real gems under the surface of this tired 1970’s resort. Apres ski is limited but sufficient during the week but tends to liven up at the weekend when the rich and famous descend on the resort from the South Coast. Prices compare favourably when compared to other French ski areas.
