The ideal positioning for your accommodation in Grindelwald would be somewhere between the Firstbahn and Bahnhof (train station). From there you will have a very easy journey to the Gondola or Ski Train. Some hotels in Grindelwald have their own bus service, allowing you to return to your accommodation with ease after a day on the mountain.
