A wonderful mountain restaurant in a tiny secluded hamlet which you can ski into from the Frachey area of Champoluc. Be warned that you cannot exit on skis, only by the restaurant’s private piste basher which will take you back to the blue piste at Frachey or back to Crest. An excellent choice for a long, relaxed feast. The cosy restaurant was built by owner Sergio who has paid great attention to its characteristic detail. Don’t miss the array of antipasta, especially the chestnuts in honey served with a local cured meat (lardo) and brown bread. Then tuck into a choice of pasta and main course. Desserts are also home-made, followed by a little grappa. Booking essential.
Evenings at the restaurant can also be arranged as the gondola runs from Champoluc to Crest, you will then be picked up by the piste basher and taken to Soussun hamlet.
