Specialist short break operator Ski Weekender launched an expanded programme of resorts and accommodation options across the Northern French Alps for the 2017/8 season.
This will be their 15th year offering ski short breaks in the Aravis resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand – where their newly refurbished Aravis Lodge chalet-hotel remains a firm favourite for its renowned service. The large chalet is situated in the small village of St Jean de Sixt and is right by the stop for the ski bus. The chalet is good for singles and groups alike and has an in-house bar, lounge, games room, gym and sauna. You can also hire your ski equipment onsite helping you get onto the slopes with the minimum of fuss.

The three new resorts are Saint Gervais, Les Contamines and the charming resort of Arêches-Beaufort.

All resorts offer a transfer time from Geneva airport of around an hour and a varied mix of ski pistes suitable for all levels. Prices are reasonable on the mountain, lift queues are rare and the pistes are relatively quiet (especially midweek); all helping to maintain the excellent holiday atmosphere of these traditional mountain villages.

Ski Weekender’s philosophy is one of convenience and service, allowing maximum ski time with minimum hassle. All Ski Weekender’s packages include:

  • Airport transfers from Geneva
  • Friendly chalet / hotel accommodation
  • Full area ski lift passes

Ski Weekender enjoys a high rate of returning guests which they put down to their experienced staff, convenient packages and high levels of personal service. From initial sales enquiry to final goodbye guests find all their questions answered, their needs met and their comfort ensured with the minimum of fuss and maximum efficiency.

Four day weekends run from Thursday to Monday evening and three day midweeks from Monday to Thursday evening.
Prices start from £459pp for 4-day weekends and £299pp for 3-day midweeks.
