There’s a new team in charge of Chez Dany. The ever popular restaurant situated in Clambin now has William Canny as head chef, creating local dishes as well as a few new favourites too.
This much-loved mountain restaurant near Verbier provides everything you could want for an idyllic lunch in the Alps; charming view, bustling atmosphere, friendly staff, hearty food and a long wine list. The usual Swiss dishes can be found here and are all well-cooked; fantastic fondue , pasta and pierre chaud. The house speciality is courtes au fromage – baked bread with ham and Swiss cheese topped with a fried egg.
Vegetarians will find a reasonable selection, with numerous cheese dishes, salads and pastas. Children’s menu available (prices range from 8-16chf).
For day access, ski down the red run under 110 Les Ruinettes chairlift, weave through the forest and take a sharp left turn (signposted Chez Dany) a short way down an itinerary route. If you want to visit in the evening, telephone to arrange access by snowmobile (though you’ll need a sledge and torch for the return journey).
