This is the place in Courchevel for an extravagant mountain lunch. The famous ‘plateau’ Cap horn (€110 for two) has every shellfish you can imagine. Or choose an ‘appellation controlle’ Bresse chicken (€95). Salads are €17-32 and pasta €22-38. On sunny afternoons, a DJ holds court from the piste basher. Dining in the evening is only by reservation and you will have to either use the bus (although there will still be a walk up the hill) or get a taxi. They also offer a take-away service with free delivery – a real treat if you fancy a night in.
Lift to the restaurant is Altiport. Pistes passing by are Pralong, Altiport. Pedestrian access is the Altiport shuttle bus.
Open daily for lunch 12 – 4pm, dinner 7 – 9.30pm.
