Arriving in Verbier on the 23 March 2019 for an epic season finale, the Freeride World Tour sees some of the world’s best skiers take on some of the most challenging terrain in the alps.
Neighbouring the descent from Gentianes, one of the resort’s most popular runs, the Bec des Rosses cuts an imposing figure on the swiss mountainside; an unforgiving face littered with jagged rocks and savage couloirs. It is the Bec des Rosses that skiers will have to take on in the last stage of the Freeride World Tour, with the finalé set up to be a dramatic spectacle. After a day spectating the skiing, and exploring some of the ski areas, visitors to Verbier can return to luxurious accommodation in Plein Soleil. Sleeping up to eight guests, the second-floor apartment offers a decadent interior with traditional Savoyard finishes; stone floors, dark wood and a rustic, open fire place.
