Host Savoie chalets
Host Savoie are a chalet company in the Portes du Soleil, run by Welshman Andy and Belgian Sylvie. They set up their company in 2005, in the world-famous and truly gigantic Portes du Soleil ski area. Their chalets are cosy and well-located, their staff are friendly and super capable, and the food is great - plentiful, made from local ingredients, and topped off by Sylvie's famous cakes.
Host Savoie holidays are reasonable and luxurious, and new in 2013 is the Chalet Clovis in Prodains, a three-room chalet that sleeps up to nine, allowing catered sole occupancy without breaking the bank.
MadDogSki stayed with Host Savoie a few years ago and can recommend them heartily!
Oh yes, and the name 'Host Savoie' is a play on 'Haute Savoie', the French department. But you knew that, didn't you?
