Combining North American efficiency, excellent infrastructure and breathtaking scenery, Canada ski resorts are easy to like. Testament to this, we’ve found that those who have made it this far in the first place tend to return again and again to the big country.

The skiing and snowboarding in Canada easily rivals that of Europe and the US. In fact when Europe suffers a poor snow season, we all watch enviously as our Canadian cousins are seeing regular dumps and powder days. For expert and extreme skiers Canada will probably already rank highly. While it’s also great for intermediates and beginners, offering well groomed pistes and spacious learner slopes.

Canada is vast. As such everything here works on a different scale and the slopes are far less crowded than its world class status might lead you to expect. And of course there’s that legendary Canadian welcome to enjoy too. Canadians are known for their straight talking, friendly nature and you’ll be made to feel welcome wherever you go.

When its time to step away from the skis and snowboards there is lots to do off of the mountain. Hiking through rugged landscapes, hitting the shops, knocking back the craft beer or tucking into the diverse and excellent cuisine on offer pretty much everywhere.
