Whether it’s the combination of North American efficiency and infrastructure or the opportunity to explore the rugged terrain and breathtaking scenery, Canada is impossible to dislike and those who have experienced it tend to return again and again.

Canada has ski resorts to suit all ages and levels, and the skiing and snowboarding easily rivals that of Europe and the US. When Europe suffers a poor snow season, we all watch enviously as our Canadian cousins are seeing regular and big dumps with sensational champagne powder days. For expert and extreme skiers Canada will probably already rank highly, whilst the less adventurous of us will love the well groomed pistes which are far less crowded than its world class status would lead you to expect. And of course, there’s the legendary Canadian welcome with no need to try and remember your school level French when you walk into a bar…

Off your skis and snowboards there is a wide selection of things to do, whether it’s hiking, wandering around the shops or enjoying the diverse cuisine which the friendly locals have to offer.
