Skiing with the family can be a wonderful experience for everybody but preparation is the key to a relaxing time for all. Childcare facilities and ski school do get very busy so if possible book well in advance. See our top ten tips for ski holidays with children here.
The Piou Piou village offer a nursery service for babies from three months old. Reserving your spot is highly recommended though. From age 3-5 kids can start learning to ski. Four Piou Piou villages exist in the resort: la Croisette (the biggest with the nursery), les Bruyères, Reberty and St Martin de Belleville (without the nursery but babies from 18 months old can join).
Things to do
A number of activities are available for families: the Sliding Castle at La Croisette and the Tobogganing Area in Les Bruyères are fun slides on 'shovel sledges', and there are football-on-snow tournaments and 'Snow Art' snow sculpture workshops.
