The 130km of piste in La Clusaz ranges from 1100m to 2500m and has something for everyone. Three main lifts from the town centre lead to the Beauregard Plateau, from where you can access the other sectors of Manigod, Merdassier, Col Froix and Aguille. The plateau is a great spot for learners with spectacular views towards Mont Blanc. There are also nursery areas at village level, at Manigod and at La Balme. The most suitable area will probably depend on the location of your accommodation.
The majority of the runs in la Clusaz are blue and red, perfect for intermediate skiers. The improvements to the slopes and lifts (a mix of chairs and bubbles) of the Etale sector in 2008 have made this previously advanced area more accessible to intermediates too. Advanced skiers will undoubtedly enjoy the North facing slopes of La Balme, with long reds, steep blacks and a natural playground of bowls, kickers and some superb off-piste on a powder day.
