December 25th is looming large, and we all know that the ‘Christmas present situation’ must be tackled soon. With that in mind, we’ve put together our best list of ski related stocking fillers. We’ve taken the words ‘reasonably priced’ and ‘useful’ as our mantra this year. Very practical, we know, but the thinking is that you’ll have more cash left over for that all-important ski holiday.

Well, we all know that we can’t rely on the British weather to deliver us a white Christmas, so the best way to be sure of snow is to book a pre-Christmas ski holiday. It’s a great time of year to visit the mountains, not only is there snow, but there are also Christmas markets, spiced vin chaud and all that warm and fuzzy festive spirit to revel in. From 4pm to 6pm if you've never tried skiing or snowboarding before you can try it for just £1 on The Snow Centre’s Easter Sunday Ski or Snowboard Taster Sessions.

For ages 4 years and upwards, adults and juniors are welcomed to try their chosen snowsport in a 15 minute session on the slope with our friendly Instructors. £1 includes skis or snowboard, boots and helmet hire plus 15 minutes on the slope.
