A report this week compared lift pass prices in French ski resorts and the results pointed to bigger resorts offering better value for money. RelaxNews used the price of a 6-day pass and the skiable area of each resort, and then worked out the price per kilometre of piste. The results varied from €3.42/km in Super Besse to just 34c/km in Les Portes du Soleil. In the eyes of somebody who wants to ski an entire mountain, Les Portes du Soleil is the winning resort.
