Following the collapse of Snowsport GB, owing huge debts, it looks as though there may be light at the end of the tunnel for the team.
A two-year deal has been struck to secure funding with a commercial sponsor - although as yet unnamed.
Ski racer Ed Drake has hoping for a scheme with the UK tour operators which will involve a contribution from all ski holidays booked going to the GB ski team. Negotiations continue, let's hope the situation is soon resolved and the guys can get on with the business of skiing rather than fundraising.
