Here are some deals from some of the bit tour operators for late March ski getaways. The snow is so great this season that spring skiing is bound to be a delicious treat. Just don't forget the sunscreen for those lazy afternoons on top of the mountain.

The news announced today that Eddie Izzard is to headline Altitude, comedy festival in Mayrhofen this year, has made us MadDogSki girls very happy. We are heading out there for the week and can't wait to see our heroes of comedy. Monsieur Izzard will be joined by the likes of John Bishop and Marcus Brigstock – we are giggling already at the sheer joy of it. Comedy, snow, Glühwein - what could be better?

Following the news that you have to add a breathalyser (or two) to your car equipment when you drive in France, here is an update. It seems that these plans have been shelved indefinitely due to the lack of knowledge of the legal limits by visitors to the country. As you can see from the list at the end the UK has the highest limit - almost double the French limit - which obviously increases the confusion.
