Catskiing is world renowned in Fernie, with over 3,000 acres of snowy terrain to explore. You can get in between 8 – 10 runs in a day, skiing or boarding down slopes where you can feel like the first one to conquer them. You have a lead guide to pick out the best route and a tail man to make sure everyone takes the best line and gets down safely.
The Catski machine itself holds upto 12 people and takes you around in heated comfort, with plenty of snacks en-route. Lunch is provided and is eaten either with a view on a good day or inside the Catski during bad weather days.
You have to be good intermediate or experienced skier to take this challenge on.
Transportation to and from their base can be arranged.
