Restaurant du Pont

Just past the church (heading away from the train station), at crossroads. A simple wooden 'shack' like restaurant with atmosphere and charm, helped along by lots of candles and friendly staff. Rather unusual mixture of music; Swiss accordion/choral/country, but somehow not too intrusive. The food is simple and homemade; rosti, ham and egg (17chf) and a variety of fondues. Good mixed salads are also available. The 20chf menu of soup, bratwurst, rosti and salad is generous.  To drink, the pineapple with kirsch (9chf) is refreshing after a fondue. Open 11am-10pm.
