Grizzly's bar

Grizzly's is the best place in Tignes to experience a traditional alpine ambience, albeit an expensive one at the back of a shop. It's popular during apres-ski to sit on the handcrafted wooden benches on the terrace around the open fire; if it gets cold you can snuggle up under a fur throw or move inside the cosy and ornately decorated bar and warm up by the fire. Don't be put off by the ladies' clothing in the window - Mrs Grizzly looks after the shop at the front of the building. Open 9.30am - 1am photo ©Monica Dalmasso
