Best of the best:
Beausite Park is reputedly the best in town, with great facilities but a poor location.
Quiet:
For a bit of peace and quiet head for Wengener Hof, although don’t expect traditional alpine charm.
Apartments:
The hotel Bernerhof’s decent Residence apartments are well positioned and hotel facilities available to guests.
Brits abroad:
For a British favourite, try ‘Falken’ for a more Fawlty Towers approach!
All-rounder:
Silberhorn is comfortable, modern and central.
Chalets
There are many self catering chalets and apartments dotted all over the village, some of which can be quite a walk up or downhill to get to the pistes or village centre. It is also possible to book a chalet with a full time nanny if required.
Hotels
Wengen has been a ski destination since Edwardian times and the first visitors, mainly British, arrived here in the 19th century, so there are a lot of beautiful old hotels. These are usually best for extra services including babysitting, beauty treatments etc.
Self-catering
There is plenty of self-catering accommodation – mostly chalets, based in and around Wengen.
