Kleine Scheidegg – Mannlichen:
This is the busiest area of them all. A must for intermediate skiers/boarders is the Lauberhorn world cup run down to Innerwengen. It opens to the public after the race has finished on 15 January.
Murren-Schilthorn:
Very little of the area is national park which means it's more accessible for off-piste, especially off the top of the Schilthorn Mountain. The Birg station opens up many runs below the Schilthorn Mountain and is one way of avoiding the bottleneck queues waiting for the one cable car on the top section.
Beginners:
The blue run from Kleine Scheidegg to Brandegg or all the way down to Grindelwald is quite narrow and often quiet and good fun.
Intermediates:
Stepfi is an excellent long red and will take you (when snow conditions permit) almost back to the village.
Advanced:
Although Wengen is quite limited for advanced runs, try parts of the Lauberhorn World Cup Downhill.
Off-piste:
There is some great off-piste around the Eigergletscher station under the Eiger and off the top of Mannlichen between the pistes.
