Skiing and snowboarding in Verbier
Beginners:The rollers and winding changing camber of Le Rouge, below Carrefour, is good for building confidence and especially suitable in cold conditions as it isn’t very high.
Intermediates:Piste de l’Ours is one of the women’s championship downhill circuit runs, and one of the best in the 4 Vallees.
Advanced:Savoleyres Nord is a small, steep-pitched black run which joins to the red. It’s well-groomed with nice bumps/powder flanking it.
Off-piste:There are vast tracts of off-piste including the back of Mont-Fort, Highway, Stairway to Heaven and Mont-Gele (make sure you take a guide with you).
