Considering that Saas Fee is a relatively small place, it has a huge range of non-skiing activity, for those days when you need a well deserved break, when the weather is bad, or would just like to do something different.
Five to try
- Head to the Bielen Wellness Centre for the 25m pool, two Jacuzzis, samarium, steam bath and a sauna
- Visit the top of the Glacier for the world's largest ice grotto
- For great family fun, try the Hannig is a 5km sledge run
- Get on the Feeblitz rollercoaster, which is a short but exhilarating ride through the trees on the side of the mountain.
- Go on a glacier guided trek
Shopping
- Popcorn has really cool clothes of all shapes and sizes, rather expensive but they have sale racks most of the time
- Why not take a picnic up to the slopes. Visit the Coop for all your food needs
- Wildone is a great snowboard shop for all the gear, with funky clothes to boot
