Nagens Station

This is one of the more reasonable self service restaurants offering two food outlets and a bar, lots of seating inside and out with great views across to Crap Sogn Gion and Crap Masegn. Nagens station is a new restaurant, opened just 2 years ago when the new gondola link was constructed. Food is only served from 11am to 3pm. To find the restaurant leave the gondola station and turn right, it's straight ahead. Nagens station is at the end of runs 12, 15, 19 and 30 and at the top of runs 12, 17 and 25. There is an NTC Rent shop and a small blue run used primarily for ski and snowboard lessons. The first restaurant is one of the Marche outlets where food is sold by weight, per 100g, and various options can be combined. Fish is at CHF8.50 per 100g, meat at CHF5.30, and vegetables and salads at CHF3.60. Wines are bottled with reasonable prices for 2dl Fechy at CHF8.90, 7.5dl bottled wines range from CHF36 to 72, 3dl of beer is CHF4.50. In the self service Stiva Flem there is a childrens menu with small portions of the adult menu, for example chicken nuggets and fries at CHF15 for adults and CHF10.50 for kids. There are daily specials which include soft drinks, for example Bratwurst with onion sauce and Rosti and 2dl drink for CHF16. Other options include beef goulash and buttered pasta also CHF16 and house sausage and bread for CHF8. Wines are reasonably priced, for example 2dl bottle of Fendant at CHF7.60. At the bar, prices are comparable with a melange coffee costing CHF4.50, 3dl beer at CHF4.50 and a gin & tonic for CHF13. Wine costs from CHF6 per deci-litre.
