In 1988/89 season the first 25-person cable car was opened and there are also quad chairlifts, 2-person chairlifts and button-lifts to get you up the mountain. 
The main ski school, La Thuile Ski School, offers lessons in Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing and snowboarding as well as telemark, carving, snow blade and free ride. The Alpine Guide Association will take you off-piste, heliskiing, ice climbing and on snow shoe excursions.
