This restaurant has a huge open fire and a really local feel. Informal yet with an unashamedly classic French menu. The steaks are melt-in-your-mouth fantastic, and the other meat dishes such as the lamb chops are cooked to perfection. If you have room try the desserts; something light like lime sorbet and vodka or a wicked chocolate cake. After dinner you may be offered a free Genepi - but beware the toad and the snake at the bottom of the bottles! Children's menu. Open 6.30pm - 2am. Last booking around 9.30pm.
