There is plenty going on in Kitzbuhel after hours, and not just in the bars. This is a town that is well suited to non-skiers. There are numerous outdoor activities as well as
ice skating,
tennis,
squash and a
cinema for indoor types.
Kitzbuhel has much to keep the avid shopper amused, with plenty by way of glitzy boutiques and designer stores. Take a look in some of the jewellery stores, which are quite impressive, or pick up a holiday souvenir in one of the shops selling traditional crafts.
Sightseeing is rewarding here, with charming hamlets dominated by mountain scenery, and Tyrolean churches with their onion dome spires. Kitzbuhel is built on the site of a medieval castle, and nearby Kirchberg is worth visiting for its impressive church.
